37th IAF World Fashion Convention
The 37th IAF World Fashion Convention took place in Dhaka from November 13 to 16, 2022, bringing together the global apparel industry to explore the theme “Transforming Fashion Together.” Co-organized by the International Apparel Federation (IAF) alongside the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA), the convention underscored the critical role of supply chain collaboration in overcoming the sector’s challenges.
The event featured a full-day conference, a networking dinner, and an industry tour, all designed to foster discussions on key issues such as digitalization, sustainability, and innovative business models. With Bangladesh being a major player in global garment exports, the convention provided a unique opportunity to examine how the industry could lead transformative changes.
