The Export Competitiveness for Jobs (EC4J) project, initiated by the Government of Bangladesh with the financial support from World Bank (WB) to broaden the country's export base beyond the Ready-Made Garments (RMG) sector. Focusing on high-potential industries such as Leather and Leather Goods, Footwear, Light Engineering, and Plastics, the project sought to enhance economic resilience and generate job opportunities for the citizens of Bangladesh.
CEMS Ltd. played a crucial role in this initiative by providing strategic planning and advisory services. Their expertise in market analysis and competitive landscape evaluation helped design targeted strategies for export diversification. CEMS addressed sector-specific challenges through customized management consulting solutions, which improved industry competitiveness and supported growth across the targeted sectors.
